Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 September 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of ArchLens (the "Service"), operated by SY Design Studio Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ArchLens is an AI-assisted planning and Building Regulations guidance platform. It generates general preliminary guidance based on information you provide. See our AI Disclaimer for the full scope and limitations of AI-generated content.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Credits and Payment

Reports are generated using a credit system. Credit costs for each report type are displayed before generation. New accounts may receive a welcome credit balance at our discretion. Credit purchases, where enabled, are processed via a third-party payment provider; final pricing is confirmed at checkout. Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: misuse the Service to generate misleading professional documents represented as formal advice; attempt to bypass credit or access controls; submit unlawful, infringing or malicious content; or attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the project information you submit. Reports generated for your account are made available to you for your own use. The ArchLens platform, branding and underlying software remain the property of SY Design Studio Ltd.

6. No Professional Advice

Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, structural, fire-engineering or definitive planning advice. See our AI Disclaimer for full details.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SY Design Studio Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or disable accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
